Withdrawal and Refund Policy

If you have not played the class video even once within 7 days from the date your deposit is confirmed, we refund the full amount without asking for a reason.

For a refund, email hello@grey.iaiu.net with the email address used for the order and the class name, and we will process it. If you cancel an order before depositing, no money has changed hands, so it is simply cancelled.

For orders paid with PayPal, the date your PayPal payment is completed is treated as the "date your deposit is confirmed". Refund inquiries are received at the same email address (you may write in English).

For card and easy-pay orders, the day the payment is approved counts as the day your payment was confirmed.

Class videos are digital content, so once you first play a video, withdrawal of the purchase is restricted from that point (Article 17(2)(v) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).

This restriction applies only if it was explained before purchase and your consent was obtained at payment. For an order where consent was not obtained, we refund even if the video has been played.

The free preview (the preview segment on each class detail page) does not count as playing; the restriction presupposes that you could check the content through the preview before buying.

If a video does not play, differs significantly from what was described, or becomes unavailable within the access period due to circumstances of the instructor or the Company, the Company refunds you regardless of whether you have played it. If only part was provided, we return the amount for the part that was not provided.

If the content differs from what was described, you may withdraw the purchase within 30 days from the date you became aware of it, and within 3 months from the date of supply (Article 17(3) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).

Textbooks (PDF and explanatory videos): if you have not downloaded the PDF and have not played any explanatory video within 7 days from the date your deposit is confirmed, we refund the full amount. After you download the PDF or play an explanatory video, refunds are restricted due to the nature of digital content (Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce). Introductory videos and preview pages are not included.

Refunds are processed by the Company as the seller, and are sent to the bank account you specify. We send the refund within 3 business days from the date we receive your withdrawal request (Article 18 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).

For orders paid with PayPal, we refund the US dollar amount you paid to the PayPal account you paid with (or the card you used through PayPal). For a partial refund, we return the same proportion in US dollars. Differences in the Korean won amount caused by currency conversion by the card company or PayPal are outside the Company's control.

For card and easy-pay orders, we cancel the payment and the money goes back to the method you paid with. Depending on the card issuer, it may take a few days to show.
